Sonor SQ2 Sound

The build quality of the Sonor SQ2 is, without a doubt, something to admire as it delivers the best sound. It is made of birch wood with a 5mm thin shell on the toms and meshes. The bass isn’t very strong, but it’s a little thicker on the shell, which ensures more volume.

The snare has double lugs which are large in size, which number 20, and are single tipped. This looks like a lot of hardware, but it doesn’t affect the sound quality.

The cross sticks on the die-cast rims are a little hard. But the heavy rim makes the rim stiff. Also, the snare sounds loud and clear, which makes it very useful.
